Invite Family and Friends

If you want this to be a surprise, then keep the guest list only to intimate family and friends. It is helpful if you take in some pictures of styles that you like to give your stylist a sense of direction, and do not be afraid to speak up about looks that you hate and those that you love. But keep your expectations as per your individual tastes and how much it will suit you; models in the pages of a magazine look good in whatever they wear, which may not necessarily work for you too. Maybe I shouldn't put it this way. It was right after the last this scare that my bachelorette party efforts really started to pay off.

Scatter cards around the room with little-known facts about the couple, which serve as conversation starters and wedding planning tips.

Wedding planning tips speaks louder than words. Gifts are certainly not required at an engagement party, although some guests may think so. First of all, you should make sure that the parents of the couple aren't planning on throwing an engagement party you don't want to step on any toes.
